F.A.Cup Prelimary Round.
Windsor & Eton 3 Bowers & Pitsea 1
The Royalists made it through to the Ist Qualifying round on 12th September with a comfortable win against their Essex opponents. Bowers looked as if they could upset the form books when Craig Gillam put them ahead after 19 minutes. Windsor then upped the pressure and levelled minutes later through Michael Chennels.
The second half saw Windsor & Eton dominate. Steve Butler headed the Royalists into the lead after 75 minutes and Michael Chennels claimed his second when he lobbed the advancing keeper after 87 minutes, to make it 3-1
