England Unveil Away Kit for 2010/2012
After quite a long wait, we have official confirmation from Umbro about the new away shirt that the English team will wear for the upcoming World Cup and for the qualifying stage of Euro 2012. The shirt matches the theme of the home shirt, where Umbro decided to give the English shirt a touch of retro and keep it as simple as possible on the outside, with extensive research in the development of the shirt. Umbro has supplied Fabio Capello’s World Cup team with a world class shirt. Despite all the criticism it may receive now, the shirt will certainly become very popular as the World Cup gets nearer, and true England fans will be hoping that the team can repeat the success of 1966 with this similar shirt. A World Cup group can never be easy, and the opponents will do everything within their power to stop Capello’s men from winning. England will start their World Cup campaign with a match against the United States on the 12th June, followed by matches against Algeria (18 June) and Slovenia (23 June).

Dont particularly like it, too plain, bit like the new england rugby shirt. they hardly had to think very long about the design eh!
ReplyDeleteI Think it looks good and more traditional to some of the kits we have had in the past.
