Welcome to Sports Pulse; Only a small change, you may not feel a thing.

Yes, you will have noticed a name change.  The new name for the blog is Sports Pulse, we have dropped the company name from the blog title.  This is the first of a number of changes that will be taking place at the company, over the next few months.  The style and layout of the blog will change gradually, until we finally arrive on a new site, with a brand new look in June.  The blog main address will not change until June.

All your favourites will remain with Sports Pulse, in fact as mentioned only the name has changed. Sports Pulse is still the official blog of SportTrades.  Our twitter site, SportTrades Talk, will also remain the same.

We would like your help.  If you are involved in a sports club or organisation that helps inspire communities or individuals, it would be great to hear from you.  Those organisations that have had funding cut, that work with local groups from all standards of sport, contact us with your story

We will be posting articles that highlight the power of sport, the unity it can bring. The importance of sport to society, the ability it has to develop social awareness, to providing a focus for individuals and all the other benefits.

We will follow traditional sports from outposts of their catchment areas or forgotten regions.  We will introduce new sports, the like of ringuette, to a new audience.  We will highlight organisation or individuals who participate in sports not associated with the country they are based in.

Our features will remain the same, with many new additions.  London Skolars - Rugby League,  Brooklyn Italians, New York based 'Soccer' side and Lake County Captains a Baseball franchise, will be joining our list of teams to follow during the summer.  We are looking for a cricket team to follow this year, so please get in touch.

In our Fix 'n' Mix post we will detail all our 'adopted' clubs fixtures for that weekend.  If you have an event or fixture you want us to promote, send details to info@sporttrades.co.uk, and we will include it.  We are restricted to amount we include, but we will operate a first come, first served basis.  If popular we may set up a separate feature.  We must have notification by the Monday prior to the event at the very latest.

We will keep you updated of every little change mad along the way.

Thank you,

SportTrades
