Britain extended their advantage over Australia at second place in the medal table winning three more golds on a relatively quiet day for ParalympicsGB. The team collected nine medals from four sports, taking their tally to 63 after five days of competition. With 19 golds in all, GB are now three ahead of Australia.
Baker’s dozen-year wait pays off with second gold: Natasha Baker (pictured above) turned her 12 year old dream of Equestrian gold into reality for the second time in three days at Greenwich Park.
Simmonds doubles her tally with two world records: Ellie Simmonds smashed the SM6 200m IM record twice in a day to win her second gold by a country mile with a come-from-behind dash in the pool.
Bushell turns silver to gold: Second in Beijing, Mickey Bushell roared to 100m London gold in front of a capacity crowd at the Olympic Stadium.

Sport by sport round-up
Athletics: Mickey Bushell broke the Paralympic record as he sprinted to victory in the T53 100m in 14.75 seconds, leaving the rest of the field in his wake.
Boccia: The McGuire brothers, Peter and Stephen, missed their Pairs final by 3mm while the Team quartet were deposed in a crushing 18-1 defeat. Both will battle fo bronze on Tuesday.
Equestrian: Natasha Baker won her second gold of the Games with an imperious grade II Freestyle performance, but the Lee Pearson era ended when he was third in the grade Ib event.
Football 7-a-side: Britain saw their medal hopes swept aside by Ukraine as the defending champions chalked up a 7-1 victory to leave Lyndon Lynch’s side chasing top-six classification.
Sailing: Two race wins propelled Helena Lucas into goldm medal position in the 2.4mR class at the halfway point. The SKUD crew are a point off in second and the Sonar team are four off the medal zone.
Sitting Volleyball: The men’s team went down 3-0 to world No. 8 Germany in their last pool match and are likely to face one of the sport’s top teams, Iran or Bosnia-Herzegovina, in a quarter-final.
Swimming: Ellie Simmonds came from behind over the las 50m to win by nearly nine seconds, taking another 1.5 seconds from the record she set this morning. Natalie Jones took bronze in that final, while Sascha Kindred added a silver, and Susie Rodgers another bronze before helping GB take third in the relay.
Table Tennis: Paul Davies upset a player ranked four places above him to secure a class 1 Singles bronze but Sara Head and Ross Wilson missed out on medals.
Wheelchair basketball: Britain’s women face Beijing silver medallists Germany in the quarter-finals after losing their last group game to Canada, while the men won their third match in successive days, beating Japan 71-55 in their final group game.
Wheelchair tennis: Peter Norfolk and Andy Lapthorne are in the Quad Doubles final, Lucy Shuker cruised into the Women’s Singles quarter-finals, and Marc McCarroll and Gordon Reid have a Men’s Doubles quarter-final after winning their second-round match.
