2012 & Retro School Sports Day Memories.

As part of our Fix 'n' Mix feature, that provides match details of all the teams we follow is the 2012 section. 2012 covers 20 games in 12 sports in one area.  It provides venues, start times and days over a selected weekend, where sport events are happening.  We would love your help in this, by providing us with information about your sport events.  You can only help if you know the featured areas, so here goes.  Weekend starting 22nd October we will be covering areas surrounding Brighton & Hove, 29th October Newcastle, the 6th November Norwich, 13th November Manchester, 20th November London (East End/Essex).  So if you are holding competitions or attending sport events around those dates, in those areas, let us know and we will promote them.

Fix 'n' Mix, in general, would like to hear from you.  Do you want to promote a sporting event or fixture then please send us the details and we will list it on the Friday feature.

SchoolYard: Those retro school sports: egg 'n' spoon race, space hoppers, sack races, three legged races, wheelbarrow races and so much more.  They, for a while now, have been popular corporate days out and team building exercises, some with modern day injuries we did not suffer from as children.  So please contact us with stories from those days, things that went wrong, ultra competitiveness and over zealous parents. You must have some cracking memories of past glories or heroic failure.  We won't forget those who have taking part on school sport days for corporate or team building exercises, you must also have some good tales to tell from those experiences.  Share your stories with us and if you have photo's even better, we will post them on our blog.  If we have a good response it may become a regular feature.
