Colchester United have announced on the club’s official website that the new home shirt is due to be launched on Friday June 18. The kit launch will be open to season ticket holders only and thus an exclusive event. The new 2010/11 leisure wear will also be launched on the same day.
The shirt will go on sale for the general public on June 26.
The club also announced that they have signed a deal with Reader Offers Limited, the UK’s premier agent for providing the finest in cruise travel. The deal is set to run for an initial two years and will see Reader Offers logo on the home and away shirts of Colchester United.
Jeremy Dickinson, Reader Offers Limited’s Managing Director, said: “We are both excited and proud to be the chief sponsor of Colchester United, especially as the majority of our 125 employees come from the Colchester area.
“We are a results driven company, so much like Colchester United really!”
Club Commercial Manager, Tim Waddington was delighted with the agreement signed with Reader Offers Ltd.
The new shirt is manufactured by Puma and features blue and white stripes with gold detail.
