With a SportTrades office in Dagenham we take a keen interest in the sporting success of the town. This weekend Dagenham is on the sporting map with two events that will take two of the towns sporting connections to the next level.
On Saturday, live on Sky, Kevin Mitchell takes on Michael Katsidis for the Interim WBO lightweight title at Upton Park. SportTades Director Jason Beazley is a family friend, so we have an extra special interest in the bout. All at SportTrades send Kevin our best wishes for the fight.
On Sunday, the mighty Dagenham & Redbridge take on Morecombe in the 1st Leg of the League 2 semi-final play-off. We wish, John Still and the boys all the best. Here's to another great performance and fingers crossed Wembley. Stop the lads around the office talking about Ronnie Moore and instead Paul Benson and the like. There is a rumour Robbo played in the same team as Ronnie.
Alf Ramsey, Terry Venables, Jason Leonard, Stacey Soloman these boys will be joining you as the stars of Dagenham. I can see it now the pavement of stars, hand prints on the Heathway.
