Fix 'n' Mix Events for the weekend 5th - 7th Novemeber. Welcome the Brooklyn Italians for 2011

Fix 'n' Mix keeps tabs on all of SportTrades 'adopted' clubs, letting you know where they are this coming weekend.  We can also promote any events/fixtures that you or your club have coming up, send details by 6pm Wednesday evenings to info@sporttrades.co.uk

We have now allocated this feature a regular spot for the article to be posted.  So as from next week, Fix 'n' Mix will appear Thursday mornings.

First an apology, we had promised that our 2012 feature for Norwich, would be posted this week. Unfortunately for you, but good for us, due to our workload we were unable to set aside sufficient time.  2012, 20 events/fixtures over 12 sports covering one area, will reappear on the 18th November, with the Norwich edition

Secondly before we get onto the fixture bit, an exciting addition.  As from May 2011 SportTrades will be following Brooklyn Italians FC , a 'soccer team' from the big apple, as they compete in their local version of 'non league' football. An introduction post, which is fascinating, will appear beginning of 2011.

Kult & Punk will have a fantastic and uninterrupted drinking time this weekend - not that it changes their social life one bit.  FC St Pauli travel to Scalke 04 this evening, so we hope for a nice early report from the guys. Remember, although SportTrades support industrial action taking by the NUJ at the BBC, you will still be able to get your normal service of stupidity from SportTrades Pulse.  To clarify why we support the strike - Nicky Campbell isn't on air, all for it.

Ian Lane will hope UD Lanzarote get back to winning ways, when they entertain Playas Jandia in Arrecife on Sunday.

Dave Bushall will send us the reports of Hull Wasps, Basketball Bonus Double Header at the Bonus Arena (Stop it, you're being silly now).  On Saturday the Tees Valley Mohawks come to town, tip off 7.30, while on Sunday the Durham Wildcats strut in, tip off 6.30. Go along and support the Wasps, they have had a fantastic start to the season and a great nights entertainment.

Pete Lewis has another busy weekend with the Chelmsford Chieftains Ice Hockey club.  On Saturday it is their turn to travel to local rivals Romford Raiders, face off 5.15pm. The dog wardens will have extra patrols on Sunday night, as Bristol Pitbulls are the visitors to Chelmsford Ice Rink, face off 6.30pm.

Dave 'Little Nosh' Gilderoy will be hoping for a better sporting weekend than the last one (5-1).  Jesmond Parish Church Hockey club, men's side host Marton Furness (is he in A-Ha) on Saturday, while the ladies have a trip to Alnwick on Sunday.

The mighty Men in Black, Harpenden RFC, are in cup action this weekend.  They travel to Harlow in the RFU Intermediate Cup on Saturday.

As always double check with the club directly or via their website, to confirm times, venues and days of all above fixtures.

Those long winter nights are drawing in, your partner has control of the T.V. remote. Good News, our friends at Sports Interactive have today officially launched Football Manager 2011.

This weekend is a crucial date in Formula One, so best of luck to Lewis and Jenson in Brazil.

Finally, it is Bonfire Night and Diwali, fireworks everywhere. Have an enjoyable and fun evening with friends and family. Please be sensible, stay safe and if possible attend an organised event.
